Job Title: Industrial Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Technician to join our team. The Industrial Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Install and set up new equipment, including calibration and configuration according to manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment operations.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and safely.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of certain equipment could be hazardous.
• Order and manage inventory of equipment parts and supplies.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to safety guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.

Work Environment:

• This position may require standing for extended periods and working in various industrial environments.
